Hey you guys, so this idiotic and despicable annual thing starts again today in Canada. It’s so messed up, and sometimes I know it’s better just not to even think about this stuff, but an end to this issue is in sight. Let’s put a stop to this bullshit this year, please just sign & repost.
On the other side of the mirror,
Where all things are reflected,
We may finally see our selves.
We may finally meet the truth.
Will we like what we see?
Will we be surprised?
I think the water there might be nice
Like a clean still lake
in the warm autumn sun.
The kind we played by as children,
Before we cared so damn much.
Before all the choices.
There in the stillness
I imagine there could be no time,
No ominous numbers,
And we all could just laugh and laugh
And let the feelings wash over us.
As memories might, I suppose.
Wash away into infinity.
Taking with them everything
we were once
So convinced mattered,
Until what we’d be left with
Is each other
In perfect clarity.
Hey you guys,
Don’t always believe what you see.
There might be more to the story.
"That’s what we storytellers do, we restore order with imagination."
